RSS Sir David Attenborough Research Vessel Uses Teignbridge’s Propellers
Teignbridge is exceptionally proud to announce our involvement in making the propellers for the 130m long, 15,000-tonne RRS Sir David Attenborough. The 60-T3S-QR azimuth thrusters, supplied by Tees Components, coupled with the Teignbridge 60inch 4 blade Rotors are specifically designed to allow the ship to overcome the challenges of station keeping at sea and provide highly accurate manoeuvrability in any direction, even in heavy ice.
