Robot Sand Milling
Our Foundry robotic sand milling provides significant advantages over traditional moulding, primarily by offering patternless, high-precision CAD-to-mould production that eliminates expensive tooling costs and reduces lead times. Our system is highly flexible for complex geometries, undercuts, and rapid design changes, allowing for 24/7 automated, unmanned operation. We machine blocks of sand and resin to make a mould for casting propellers, rudders, brackets and other components.
The introduction of robotic sand-milling is a further example of our focus on investment and our commitment to adopting technology to increase accuracy and efficiency within our manufacturing processes.
