We at Teignbridge Propellers are proud to announce a collaboration with HITs (Homeless in Teignbridge). Teignbridge is the name of the local area where the factory is based and constitutes a number of nearby towns and villages including Newton Abbot and Teignmouth. Teignbridge staff members have donated a variety of tinned foods, pasta, sauces and cooking ingredients for the charity. In addition, some members of the team have given cash donations online and at the time of delivery. We are very proud of the generosity of our colleagues who are supporting those less fortunate, especially during this difficult period. ‘Homeless in Teignbridge’ aid in the relief of poverty amongst local people who are or may soon be; homeless or inadequately housed, those who have experienced domestic violence, ex-servicemen and women, people with disabilities, families in poverty and ex-offenders. They do this through support program, advice and assistance concerning accommodation, food, clothing, hygiene and other basic needs. Being able to support a local charity who are still operating during these difficult times means a great deal to us at Teignbridge Propellers. We thank them for doing such a fantastic job. If you would like to learn more about them or give what you can please visit their website at https://hitsfoodbank.org/
